Soapy is based on a Flash game called Bubble Shooter. We play it by clicking where we want to get the next bubble to shoot. Bouncing the bubble off the walls will require some skill. Same color bubbles pop the other around them if there are more than two bubbles with same color as the colliding shooting bubble.

Platforms

The game adjusts to screen size and can be played with touch screen and mouse. Tap or click shoots the next bubble in the queue to that direction. I have tested it on Android and IOS. Let me know if it does not work for you and I will try to find out the issue or at least reply with a super sad emoji.

Tech

Soapy’s full code, assets and everything are in total just 20kb in size. It is written with vanilla JavaScript and uses no external libraries. Soapy is contained in its entirety in a single file.

Things to come

I’ll be adding sound effects and maybe music to the game. And along those a mute button. I tend to like playing in silence.
